Dr. Liz Tyler grew up in New Mexico. She attended veterinary school at Colorado State University and graduated in 1989. After graduation, Dr. Tyler moved back to New Mexico where she worked at a mixed animal practice for 2 1/2 years. She returned to Colorado in 1992 when she accepted a position at a small animal hospital in Henderson where she practiced for 26 years. She joined Huron Animal Hospital in November 2018 and enjoys working with the other veterinarians and great staff.

In her spare time, Dr. Tyler likes to swim and ride bicycles. In the past several years, she has taken mountain biking trips to Costa Rica and Chamonix, France, including several road biking trips in Austria and Italy. She also likes to spend time at home with her husband and two crazy Australian cattle dogs.
