Dr. Landon Chen grew up along the Gulf Coast in Mississippi, before moving to Miami for his degree in Marine Biology at the University of Miami. After completing his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Chen moved out to Colorado in 2021 to pursue his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University. After graduating, he and his wife felt at home in Colorado with its beauty and the people they had met along the way. He joins Huron Animal Hospital after graduating with his DVM in 2025. Dr. Chen’s veterinary medicine interests include small animal soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, preventative care, and exotic medicine. When not in the clinic, Dr. Chen enjoys fishing, hiking, tinkering with technology, and taking care of his fish and reptiles he has at home. He also enjoys taking his rescue dog, Maple, and pomeranian, Dakota, on walks at local trails and around their neighborhood.
